Wow! What a fantastic weekend of weather we have had here in the UK. What with it being the end of the School Half Term break as well, the roads and beaches were jam packed with parents and kids!! The weathermen tell us that that 'normal service will be resumed' later this week, so have we seen the first and last of British Summertime 2009? Who knows, last summer was pretty miserable from beginning to end, all I have in my memory of the summer holidays was endless grey skies and lots and lots of rain. Let's hope for a proper summer this year.
The weather may have been fantastic, but it sure stops parents surfing the net!! As soon as the sun comes out, the visits to our website at www.pricerighthome.com slow right down. It may have been difficult to drag yourself away from the back garden (or the pub garden!) during the weekend, but we've got loads of great items to keep the kids entertained during the summer months. We must stock every kids character towel and poncho under the sun, as well as some great outdoor paddling pools. Or how about a new bike to keep the kids active during the summer months?
We've also got a great summer of new release kids movies to look forward to. I'll be posting more details of these soon.
Enjoy the summer weather whilst it lasts, who knows when it will be this good again?
