Wimbledon 2009

Wimbledon 2009 commences today and following the number one seed, Rafael Nadal's announcement that he will not be taking part this year due to a knee injury, third seed Andy Murray really does seem to have a chance of winning his first grand slam title. Wimbledon hasn't been won by a British player since Fred Perry triumphed in 1936! However, Andy may still need to face the number two seed Roger Federer who already has five Wimbledon titles under his belt. Federer opens the tournament on centre court today when he plays Yen-Hsun Lu.

Wimbledon always seems to stimulate outside play for both adults and kids! Local tennis courts are suddenly booked solid and sales of tennis rackets go up. At PriceRightHome we have a number of outside play products ie bikes, scooters, skateboards, tricycles and pop up play tents. We even stock tennis bat/ball sets for budding Wimbledon champions!
